The Best of CafelLit 11 Contibutors: Jim Bates

 How did you come to write for CafeLit?

Back in early 2018, I heard about CafeLit from two friends of mine, Kathy Sharp and Gail Aldwin. I submitted a story and was thrilled have it accepted. It was my first acceptance ever!! I’ve been sending work ever since.

What do you most like about CafeLit?

I like the face that Gill and her team are so accessible. They are also really nice people, and, in my book, that counts for a lot!! (That's very kind of you Jim. Gill)

What else do you write?

Primarily I write literary stories, the kind CafeLit publishes. But I also write and have had published poetry, terror/horror, SF and Young Adult fiction.
