I undertake macro edits on plot, pace, world-building, characterisation and craft skills. There will be plenty of line by line advice on structure, dialogue, point of view and tense. As an editor on a literary magazine, I know what grabs the readers attention and what causes the editor's eye to glaze over. I'll try and tell you straight where I see the strengths and weaknesses in your writing. I don't conduct thorough proof edits on punctuation, spelling error or typos but I will highlight them when I see them.

As a widely published writer myself (under the name of Steven John), I'm well acquainted with short form writing in the literary genre, be that novellas, novella-in-flash, short stories, short story collections, flash or micro-fiction. I have recently completed a Masters' Degree in Creative and Critical Writing and am now supervising Creative Writing dissertations for other postgraduate students.
