Alyson had two children's books published by Collins and Ginn in the 1990's under her writing name of Alyson Faye. In the last few years she has had numerous short stories (eg : www.alfiedog.com) and pieces of Flash Fiction published on line or in anthologies.
She has also been shortlisted or placed in a handful of writing competitions.

She is happy to review and/ or beta read for all genres of fiction, including short stories and of course flash fiction. She has a special interest in Y.A. fiction (she writes for that age group herself) and children's books.
She also offers proofreading services. She has varied experience of this including proof-reading and lightly editing several writer friends' MS's as well as her own work. She is currently putting together Otley Writers' Group latest anthology. Their first- 'The Pulse of Everything'- is available on www.amazon.co.uk.
She charges £10 per 1000 words for proof reading services.
